PIONEER TRACKS

Pioneer Tracks is all about the adventurers, frontiersmen and expedition leaders of days gone by, the pioneers of adventure and the tracks that they have left. Some say that there are no new adventures, but here we mix re-enactments of old adventures with new adventures, those that up until now, no one has been prepared to do!

Shayne Harris is an Australian adventurer with a passion for things Citroen and an interest in historical trailblazers. His current focus is following in the tracks of automotive pioneers, undertaking research of original expeditions, locating surviving examples of the vehicles, restoring them to undertake historical re-enactments of those expeditions.

Shayne is currently working on two projects:

TRAILBLAZER
A re-enactment of the first car to circumnavigate Australia.

SAHARA BY CITROEN KEGRESSE
A re-enactment of the first crossing of the Sahara by motor car.
